Wyoming Department of Education
Data Driven Enterprises is under contract with the Wyoming Department of Education to provide evaluation services for the Wyoming State Improvement Grant (WySIG). As the external evaluator, Data Driven Enterprises evaluates the four main initiatives of this grant:
Kindergarten Readiness - In cooperation with the Division of Developmental Disabilities and in collaboration with Child Development Services of Wyoming, this initiative is focused on providing professional development to the staff in the 14 developmental preschool regions. Evaluation activities have included:
Project Readiness for Paraprofessionals (PRP) - The program, which is administered through Casper College (CC), provides accessible, high quality training for Wyoming 's paraeducators. Evaluation activities have included:
Wyoming Collaborative Mentorship Academy (WCMA) - This initiative addresses the current shortages of special educators in Wyoming by providing school districts with a field-based alternative route to certification for Wyoming teachers who are currently teaching in special education but lack special education certification. Evaluation activities have included:
Parent Initiative - This initiative is a partnership between four family organizations: (1) the WIND Family Support Network (WFSN), (2) Wyoming 's Parent Information Center (PIC), (3) Wyoming 's Parent Education Network (PEN), and (4) UPLIFT, Wyoming 's Federation of Families for Children's Mental Health. This initiative focuses on increasing the capacity of parents to effectively participate in and influence school reform and their child's educational programs. Questionnaires have been administered to both paraeducators and their supervisors. Evaluation activities have included:

Data Driven Enterprises has provided evaluation services for DDD in terms of designing and analyzing surveys for regional preschool staff; analyzing Share Point user statistics; and analyzing the data and writing the report for the Part C Annual Performance Report.
Data Driven Enterprises has worked with several school districts and individual schools within the state of Colorado to determine the quality of various interventions (e.g., reading and math programs, tutoring services) and has analyzed test data so that schools would know the skill areas on which their students score the highest/lowest. Data driven enterprises has also provided training to school personnel on testing and using data to improve school quality.
The University of Colorado at Boulder
Data Driven Enterprises has collected data from students on their spending behaviors and has used this information to show the economic impact of the university on the city of Boulder , Colorado . Data Driven Enterprises has also surveyed students and faculty about various issues (e.g., advising, academics, diversity/climate, publications). Survey methods have included written questionnaires, telephone surveys, and focus groups.
Data Driven Enterprises has collected data to determine the effectiveness of informing the public about ocean water quality via telephone hotline, web page, newspaper, and beach signs. Trained interviewers approached Orange County beachgoers and asked them about their awareness of, use of, and satisfaction with these four communication methods. Data Driven Enterprises has also conducted a study to determine people's satisfaction with the Orange County government's food complaint process. Callers of the hotline were contacted by phone and asked about their satisfaction with the process—the courtesy of the hotline receptionist; the professionalism of the hotline investigator; and the thoroughness, timeliness, and outcome of the investigation; and the overall ease of the hotline process.
